3 July 2022 | 9.00 | NEWBURY MARKET PLACE

We are inviting local cyclists to join one of our regular group rides on Sunday 3 July. It’s an open invitation – just turn up at Newbury Market Place at 08.50, ready to ride at 09.00.

Good company, conversation and exercise are great for the mind, body and soul. And they are all part of the feelgood recipe at Newbury Road Club, home of cycling in West Berkshire. With over 200 local members, the Club offers multiple rides and activities for everyone.

With our Club now running more rides, more often than ever, it might be time to enjoy the benefits of group riding. Apart from the motivation to stretch yourself, you’ll explore new routes and of course there’s the chance to swap stories with fellow riders… maybe over a coffee.

The club now runs many weekend, midweek, evening, women’s and training rides – all with routes carefully graded and planned by experienced cyclists. There is also a busy calendar of time-trials for those wishing to push their fitness further. You can see all the planned rides and grades on our events calendar here. Members simply book on using our Ride App, turn up and ride.

So, whether you’re an absolute beginner or experienced racer, Newbury Road Club will provide the inspiration, motivation and organisation – all you need is your bike.
