“Didn’t we do well!” Recounting the day we hosted the National 10-mile Championships.

We remember May 24th 2009 when NRC hosted Michael Hutchinson and a young Dame Sarah Storey …

“To run a national championship is a great accolade for a promoting club and, apart from our racing achievements, this must surely be the Club’s greatest achievement in all its history. From comments from riders and the cycling press it was praise all round for a well-run event.”

So wrote ChainMail editor, Ian Lakey, back in 2009. We thought you might like to read that edition and, as part of our centenary build up, we have unearthed it from our archive. Read and enjoy!
