It’s December and our thoughts inevitably turn towards log fires, mince pies, kissing strangers under the mistletoe and, of course, the Newbury Road Club Boxing Day TT fun ride. Although technically a time trial (there will be timekeepers), this event is much more about fancy dress and the mulled wine and mince pies afterwards and it is a great chance to get away from the family for an hour or so and work off that excess turkey.
This year there will be prizes for best fancy dress, most unusual or well-decorated bike and best dressed mascot (animated or otherwise).
