Newbury Road Club named in Parliament

Newbury MP, Mr Lee Dillon, praised Newbury Road Club, Newbury Velo and West Berkshire Spokes for October's Glow Ride in support of UK Cycling's "My Ride, Our Right" campaign. This was in a debate, held in Westminster Hall, to consider Women's safety while walking, wheeling, cycling and running.

Mr Dillon said "I congratulate the hon. Lady on securing this debate. Will she join me in congratulating Newbury Road Club, Newbury Velo and West Berkshire Spokes, which organised a glow ride in October last year as part of Cycling UK’s “My ride. Our right” campaign? If we had segregated cycle lanes, it would help to improve all cyclists’ safety on the roads, including women."
